A 250kW pilot project is being developed at King Island, Tasmania. BioPower Systems is collaborating with Hydro Tasmania to deploy and test a 25m bioWAVE unit, which will be connected to the island's power distribution grid. The pilot is scheduled to be operational during 2010.

A 250kW pilot project is being developed at Flinders Island, Tasmania. The 20m bioSTREAM unit will be connected to Hydro Tasmania's distribution grid on the Island. The pilot should be operating in 2010.
